Siamo da tre generazioni tenaci sostenitori della nostra terra, della sua ricchezza e di quello che ha rappresentato, rappresenta e soprattutto di quanto rappresenterà in futuro per il mondo del vino.

Siamo partiti dalla tradizione, dal Gaglioppo, dal Greco e dalla grande quantità di varietà autoctone presenti sul territorio della nostra regione. Siamo partiti dall’alberello e dai portainnesti storicamente usati in zona, oltre che dagli insegnamenti dei nostri esperti viticoltori con la loro abilità che affonda le radici nei secoli di storia viticola del Cirotano.

Ci siamo poi rivolti ai massimi esperti del settore viticolo ed enologico, perché sapevamo che un minuzioso lavoro di ricerca ci avrebbe permesso di fissare, conservare ed esaltare il nostro patrimonio viticolo. Questo è infatti da sempre il nostro obiettivo e la nostra richiesta alla comunità scientifica. Lungi dal voler inventare o modificare alcunché, attraverso la scienza abbiamo semplicemente voluto capire meglio e in modo definitivo quello che di grande avevamo a disposizione.

Sappiamo oggi che l’intuizione iniziale era giusta e sappiamo anche che alcune delle pagine più belle dell’enologia calabrese devono ancora essere scritte.

For three generations we have been tenacious supporters of our land, of its wealth and of what it has represented, represents and above all of what it will represent in the future for the world of wine.

We started from tradition, from Gaglioppo, from Greco and from the large quantity of native varieties present in the territory of our region. We started from the sapling and rootstocks historically used in the area, as well as from the teachings of our expert winemakers with their skill that has its roots in the centuries of winemaking history of Cirotano.

We then turned to the leading experts in the viticultural and oenological sector, because we knew that a meticulous research work would allow us to establish, preserve and enhance our viticultural heritage. In fact, this has always been our goal and our request to the scientific community. Far from wanting to invent or modify anything, through science we simply wanted to understand better and definitively what great we had at our disposal.

We know today that the initial intuition was right and we also know that some of the most beautiful pages of Calabrian enology have yet to be written.
