My name is Crucitti Angelo, and I am the owner of the Caffè Crucitti SrLL company. Our company was born with my father Salvatore in 1964, we can say that it was born almost by chance, my father had a shop and among the various products on sale there was even coffee.
Becoming more and more passionate about this product, he decided to open the Torrefazione.Initiale was born only as a wholesale, subsequently, on the advice of my mother, Federico Giuseppa, also began the retail sale, thus dedicating the sale to the use Together with my brother Antonino we try to maintain today what has been done in the past by our parents but with an innovative approach due to the changes that the coffee market requires.

Choosing an artisan coffee means drinking a different coffee than those normally found on the market.An important distinction between artisan coffee and commercial coffee is given by the processing times, which are slower and more accurate, by the high quality of the raw material, but above all by the possibility of producing small quantities at a time, based on the market demand of the moment, to ensure that the product is always fresh and is consumed as soon as possible from the production date, without having to resort to the use of preservatives .
How we work?
Our working method is simple but accurate, both as regards the choice of the raw material, and as regards the processing procedure, which must follow a very precise standard so that the coffee can enhance all the aromatic complexities. It starts with the selection of the raw and we proceed with the study of the samples of the latter; initially we classify it by defects, the less it has the more the coffee is valuable, after which we pass to the tasting, if this procedure satisfies us we order the raw destined for production; working process (roasting). We individually roast each type of coffee and the mixing takes place only in the next step, our working times are estimated at around 18 minutes at a temperature of about 220 degrees with a 30 kg drum roaster. matured over the years allows us to manually control the entire process and finally to establish the exact moment in time the coffee has released all the aromatic substances, and stop the production cycle at that precise moment.
