Our tradition and passion for agriculture and life in the mountains have given life to the Agriturismo Il Casale del Lago Arvo. The company was born in Sila, a place where you can breathe the cleanest and healthiest air in all of Europe. Our products are as genuine as the land and the passion with which we cultivate it respecting the most ancient traditions.
Il Casale dell'Arvo is located in Barracchella, a few steps from Lorica. Lorica is a tourist resort in the Sila, still preserved from mass tourism, 14 kilometers from San Giovanni in Fiore. It overlooks the artificial lake Arvo, built for the production of electricity, around it there are larch pine woods which give it the typical appearance of high mountain lakes.
Lorica is a destination for tourists in the summer for beautiful walks on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, in its woods and for the practice of summer bob. In winter it is equipped with ski lifts (the Casale Dell'Arvo farmhouse is about 5 KM from the ski lifts) on the side of the valley called the valley of hell.
