The Cantine Rombolā company is located in the hamlet of Brattirō, a municipality of Drapia, about three kilometers from Tropea, in the province of Vibo Valentia. The vineyards are located on a plateau of 250 meters above sea level where the conformation of the territory and the breath of the nearby Tyrrhenian give life to a microclimate suited to an excellent wine production. True natural teamwork creates a terrific climate and microclimate to obtain healthy and exceptional grapes, the result of a few ancient and simple treatments.
Passion, dedication, attention to detail, constant insights into innovative technologies, respect for times and vinification, have guided the production of wine. After about 10 years of continuous tests on various indigenous grape varieties and international samples.
The triumph of an enveloping, particular and elegant taste of a complex and structured wine made such also by the balanced presence of tannins and adequate acidity.
It is a product born from the union between present and future: a manual harvest, traditional processing methods combined with a particular attention to the pressing process with very soft destemmers, minimizing the use of centrifugal pumps and, ultimately, making the most of the decanting by gravity so as not to cause "mistreatment" to the product.
All this thanks also to the collaboration of viticulture and enology specialists, competent collaborators dedicated to their land, with the coordination of Alfonso Rombolā, founder of the winery.
