Molo 10 is therefore located on the seafront of Fuscaldo Marina, a fishing village whose history is told by the events of the numerous fishing families who live there. Having dinner at sunset, you can admire a truly evocative picture: fathers with faces furrowed by the wrinkles of fatigue and children with the enthusiasm and joy of young people leave the shore with rowing boats and reach the buoy; they gather the heavy nets of fish with the strength of the shoulders and the passion of the heart. Later in the evening, during the spring, it is wonderful to observe how anchovy fishing takes place in the moonlight attracted by the unmistakable light of the lampara. Anchovies, which have made Fuscaldo famous throughout Calabria and beyond, are also the raw material of the Molo 10 masterpiece “Square spaghetti with anchovies, walnuts and wild fennel”.
