Young, dynamic and in love with his job, Espedito Ammirata is only 24 years old, but has a long experience in the restaurant world. His passion for pizza was born at the age of 12, in his father's pizzeria, and continued to grow when at 17 he decided to go to Germany to work as a pizza maker.
Once back home, Espedito transforms his father's small pizzeria into an exclusive and innovative reality. In 2019, with the presence of maestro Luciano Sorbillo, he decides to change location and inaugurate Mamarè-Pizza e Chiuriti, whose menu combines Calabrian traditions and traditional Neapolitan cuisine.
Even in the very name of the pizzeria, the love and respect for the history and traditions of his land is preserved: Mammarè is the name by which Espedito called his grandmother, who has taken care of him since he was a child. The "chiuriti", on the other hand, are the delicacies that the pizzeria offers to make waiting for the pizza more pleasant.
