The farm holiday centre Casacchella is wonferfully located on the hills of Piana di Sibari, an unique view onto the Ionic Sea as well as the extended olive cultivated areas. The extraordinary care of the couple Natale Falsetta and Caterina Tocci provides tranquil and friendly atmosphere, whose hobby in the bio-agriculture and typical Calabrian cuisine. Our guests have the possibility of choosing between relaxing days in the country side or having a great day at beach or swimming pool of Salice Club Resort (only 8km away). So, we offer the possibility of having fish menu lunch directly by the sea or typical Calabrian menu with bio-agricultural products at Casacchella. Guests enjoy nice relaxing evenings at Casacchella or cabaret, disco and piano-bar at Salice Vacanze.
The Cuisine
Calabrian Cuisine isinfluenced by ancient recipes based on simple combinations and tasteful spice. The meals are simple, healthy and bond to the origins of the territory. Calabria cuisine is rich and diverse, low fat. Some of the main meals are based on fish, lamb, red spicy pepper, legumes, vegetables, wild salads, oranges, tangerines, lemons, olive oil. All these ingredients are part of the Mediterranean diet.
The Rooms
We have 9 rooms up to 5 beds, with an external balcony, air conditioning, fridge, TV, safe, 6 of them with a small kitchen inside. All of them are of new construction, tastefully furnished. We make you feel at home
