The roots of one's family, belonging, love for one's own territory, recovery of traditions, creation of opportunities, cultural growth, these are some of the reasons that have led the Brothers Andrea and Marco Caputo to take the road for 10 years viticulture.
In December 2005, thanks to the help of their family, they purchased an agricultural land of about 14 hectares in the village of Borgo Partenope of Cosenza in Serre, (the plot falls in the DOP Terre di Cosenza subarea DONNICI), which is spread over a hill surrounded by ancient olive groves and old vineyards now abandoned, up to decline in a valley with excellent exposure to the south, south-west located about 450 meters above sea level, and located on the slopes of the Silane plateau.
Despite the difficulty of steep slopes for the processing and mechanization of crops, after some years of preventive soil preparation, in 2008 they plant a vineyard of about 4.5 hectares, which is given priority and importance to the native strains of the area, such as sweet (red berry) and pecorello (white-berry) knitwear, and in 2015, after years of work and sacrifice, a winery is created with an adjoining show-room and tasting room with the aim of creating products of excellence that can enhance the typicality of the territory.
